Yoga
Come
as you are. Make friends with your body and be relieved
that you don’t have to push, compete, force or hurt
yourself. Change restricted movement patterns into expanded
possibilities. Be guided and move intuitively with spaciousness
and freedom. Discover natural breath, move slowly and appreciate
what works for you. We’ll start our practice with
a check-in of our present moment experience and deepen into
an easeful restorative flow using slo-mo balls and props
as supports when appropriate. Laughter, sighs, fluid movement
and relaxation are invited and encouraged. Everyone welcome.

Yoga
Nidra
Yoga
Nidra is a deep relaxation technique, in which we hold conscious
awareness within a sleep-like state. It is deeply regenerating
and purifying to the system, particularly when practiced
regularly. Let go and allow yourself to rest into ‘yogic
sleep’. Listen to your body, release stored tension
and reduce stress. Melt into a long guided relaxation. No
previous experience required. Bring a blanket and an eye

YogaDance
Shake
Your Soul! Some days you just have to forget it all and
DANCE! YogaDance is for everyone. No yoga or dance experienced
required. It brings fitness to your body and spirit by taking
you on a journey through the energy centers of your being.
Using music as inspiration, it’s a creative combination
of yoga, fluid embodiment, creative movement, free dance,
spontaneous posture flows, emotional embodiment, and somatic
practices. A dynamic experience of inner rhythm and expressive
movement, It gives us an opportunity to move freely and
joyfully, embracing spirit and celebrating life!
YogaSense
An eclectic mix of movement methods,
a potpourri of energetic possibilities, a fusion of philosophies
and cosmologies ... a ‘sense’ of yoga. YogaSense
is an open space for experimentation and exploration.
It trains the body to recognize the rasas (emotional essence
energies), and inhabit the swamp of visceral energies,
through movement based inquiries; sometimes themed, sometimes
theme-less. Originally designed as a specialized curriculum
for the acting students at the Ottawa Theatre School,
YogaSense is also available as a public class. Utilizing
principles from a variety of movement methods, we use
music and vocalizations as inspiration and develop skills
to increase endurance, focus and presence. Suitable for
creative souls who are looking for body-centered expression
and just plain fun; if you’re open-minded and open-spirited
... come out to play, witness and be-witnessed!

is a developing method ... a gentle movement practice, balanced
between silence, sound and music; inspired by awareness-based
motion, energetic sensing, somatic movement, SomaSoul®,
